We're independent, so we shop your coverage across our carriers instead of selling you one company's policy.
Add or change coverage
Manage a policy you already have with us — or add a line to it.
- Add a vehicle, driver, or property
- Change your limits or deductibles
- Add another line of coverage
- ID cards and certificates of insurance
- Questions on a claim in progress
- Billing and payment
Coverage changes are only in effect once we confirm them with you, so give us a call for anything urgent.

Personal, commercial, and life — all written in-house.
Every line, under one agency.
Here's what we write and what tends to go wrong in each. If you don't see what you need, ask — the specialty market is wide and we'd rather place it than send you somewhere else.
Auto
Louisiana has some of the highest auto premiums in the country. Shopping it is the easiest money most people leave on the table.
- Liability, collision, comprehensive
- Uninsured and underinsured motorist
- Full coverage on financed and leased vehicles
- Motorcycles, boats, campers, RVs
- Classic and collector vehicles
- SR-22 filings and high-risk placements
Home
Wind, hail, and flood drive what Louisiana homeowners pay. We write the policy around those exposures instead of pretending they aren't there.
- Homeowners (HO-3 and HO-5)
- Renters and condo unit-owner
- Landlord and rental dwelling
- Mobile and manufactured homes
- Wind and hail deductibles, explained up front
- Replacement cost vs. actual cash value
Commercial
From a one-truck contractor to a multi-location operation, we place what your contracts and your lender actually require.
- General liability and commercial property
- Commercial auto and fleet
- Workers' compensation
- Contractor's equipment and inland marine
- Business owner's policies (BOP)
- Surety, license, and performance bonds
- Certificates issued same day
Life
We start from what your family would actually owe — the mortgage, the income, the years left of school — and size the policy to that.
- Term life (10, 20, and 30 year)
- Whole and universal life
- Final expense
- Mortgage protection
- Key person and buy-sell funding
- No-exam options for qualifying applicants
Flood & specialty
The coverage standard policies exclude — and in south Louisiana, the exclusions are the part that matters.
- Flood (NFIP and private market)
- Personal umbrella and excess liability
- Jewelry, firearms, valuable articles
- Event and short-term liability
- Pet insurance
- Vacant property and builder's risk
Four steps, in order. Most of the work is ours.
Send us your dec page
One PDF or a photo of it. That single document tells us your carrier, your limits, your deductibles, and what you're paying.
We shop it
Your profile goes out to our appointed carriers and we compare what comes back — coverage against coverage, not just price against price.
We walk you through it
Line by line, in plain English: what changed, what it costs, and which one we'd put our own family on.
We keep shopping it
Every renewal, we run the market again. You don't have to remember to ask.
A captive agent works for one carrier. We don't.
We're not a call center in another state.
Louisiana is a hard market. That's the whole job.
Carriers leaving the state, wind and hail deductibles written as a percentage of your dwelling, flood zones redrawn, premiums moving every single year. We keep up with all of it so a renewal notice is never a surprise — and when a storm comes through, it comes through for us too.
- Appointed with many carriers, captive to none
- Licensed producers and a licensed adjuster on staff
- Auto, home, commercial, and life in one place
- Your rate re-shopped before every renewal
- Real help filing and following a claim
- Baton Rouge based, licensed statewide
Independent, local, licensed statewide.
Somebody in the insurance business on your side.
Louisiana is one of the hardest insurance markets in the country. Premiums climb, carriers pull out of the state, and homeowners learn what their wind and hail deductible really means at the worst possible moment.
Meanwhile most people buy coverage from an agent who can only offer them one company's product. When the rate jumps, that agent has nothing to offer but sympathy.
We opened Red Stick to be the other option. Appointed with a wide panel of carriers, so when your rate moves we can actually do something about it. And because our owner is a licensed adjuster as well as a producer, we know how a claim gets evaluated, not just how a policy gets sold.
We live here. We insure our own families here. We're accountable to our neighbors for the advice we give.

We work for you, not a carrier
No home-office quota, no single product to push. If your current policy is the better deal, that's what we'll tell you.
Plain English, every time
Deductibles, exclusions, endorsements — explained so you know what you're buying. If there's a gap, we point at it before you sign, not after a claim.
We answer the phone
A named agent with your file in front of them. No call center, no starting over with someone new every time something changes.
Built for this market
Wind and hail deductibles, flood zones, carriers entering and leaving the state. We track it so a renewal notice never blindsides you.
Jonathan Davis
Holds both a Louisiana producer and adjuster license. He also owns Gator Roofing & Restoration and serves as Secretary/Treasurer of Louisiana's largest residential roofing association. Having worked claims from the adjusting side as well as the policyholder side, he knows where coverage tends to fall short — and writes policies accordingly.
Ciera Plunkett
Runs the day-to-day for personal lines clients: shopping renewals, adding vehicles and drivers, and walking new homeowners through what a policy actually covers before they sign it.
Our full team of licensed producers and service staff is here Monday through Friday. Call (225) 347-4185 and you'll get one of us.
We answer during business hours.
Talk to a real agent.
Questions about a policy, a claim, or a renewal? Call or email us and you'll reach a licensed agent, not a queue. If you want a price, the quote form asks the right questions and gets you an answer faster.
Already a client? Certificates, ID cards, and policy changes are usually handled while you're on the phone. Please don't report a claim or request a coverage change by email — those are only effective once we confirm them with you directly.
